Artwork Description
Floating Reverie is a hand-painted water lily oil painting that combines delicate blossoms with an atmospheric abstract pond. Pale blue, soft green, and creamy beige form a luminous setting, punctuated by pink, white, and red flowers across a vertical composition.
An open passage of blue-gray water travels through the center of the canvas. Its spacious treatment allows the surrounding clusters of color and raised floral details to stand out while giving the scene a restful sense of depth.
Near the upper left, a small white blossom rests above a dark blue shadow. Its bright petals introduce a crisp point of contrast within the softly layered greens and turquoise.
A red flower appears farther to the right, surrounded by warm ochre and rose passages. This concentrated accent draws the eye across the upper middle without disturbing the painting’s gentle balance.
On the right, another pale blossom opens against a deeper blue area. Fine pink touches bring warmth to its white petals, while nearby horizontal marks suggest leaves and reflections on the water.
Lower on the left, a vivid pink bloom offers a second point of emphasis. Its upright strokes and pale highlights give it a distinctive shape among the flatter, more loosely described floating forms.
Small leaflike marks are scattered throughout the pond. Cream, green, turquoise, and yellow strokes appear in overlapping groups, suggesting a surface that changes with light, vegetation, and reflected color.
The upper background shifts into warm ivory and blush pink. These softly worked areas create an impression of diffused light, balancing the cooler water and richer greens below.
Ochre and mustard accents introduce an earthy warmth across the canvas. Their irregular placement connects the separate clusters of foliage and adds variety to the predominantly pastel palette.
Vertical streaks extend beneath several areas of concentrated color, suggesting reflections. Short horizontal strokes interrupt these trails, creating a loose interplay between depth and the pond’s surface.
The blossoms carry more pronounced texture than many of the surrounding passages. Raised petals and curved deposits of paint give these small forms a sculptural presence within the airy setting.
Elsewhere, scraped layers and broken edges allow neighboring colors to show through. This varied handling keeps the surface expressive and encourages the eye to move between quiet openings and richly worked details.
From across a room, Floating Reverie offers a soft arrangement of cool water, warm light, and scattered blooms. Closer viewing reveals the individual knife marks and subtle color transitions that bring character to the pond.
Its vertical format suits a bedroom, living room, entryway, or reading corner. The pale background complements cream upholstery, natural wood, and woven textures, while the floral accents connect easily with muted pink or green accessories.
Contemporary, transitional, and modern organic interiors provide fitting settings for its painterly interpretation of nature. Floating Reverie brings a gentle decorative presence, combining the stillness of water with the expressive texture of individually formed blossoms.
Each painting is individually hand-painted, allowing subtle variations in brushwork, texture, and color transitions that make every artwork unique.

GOOD TO KNOW
Questions, answered.
Clear details, so you can choose with confidence.
Are Viarteart paintings printed?
No. Our paintings are made by hand on canvas, with real brushwork rather than printed reproduction. Depending on the design, our artists may use oils, acrylics, and texture mediums. If you would like exact materials for a specific artwork, please ask before ordering.
Can I request a different size or color?
We offer custom sizing and color adjustments for many paintings. Contact our team with your preferences before placing an order.
Will I see my finished painting before it ships?
Yes. We send photos for your review after painting is complete. You can request minor adjustments before approving the finished work for framing and shipping.

Hand-painting and drying generally take 7–14 days. We then send photos for your approval before framing and dispatch. Delivery after dispatch usually takes about 5–7 business days, depending on destination and carrier. The quality of the art was better than I expected. It's absolutely an amazing piece of artwork. Thank you.
the customer service team was wonderful throughout the whole process. After several small changes I’m very happy with the work. However, as the impasto paint is quite thick, I would strongly recommend it is shipped as stretched canvas (like mine was) or the paint will crack if sent rolled.
The item was as described, thought the waves would be thicker in depth, but it looks nice in our LR.

Its still at DHL. There's trouble on my end here.
Ocean Whisper – Hand-Painted Textured Coastal Waves Oil Painting
We just moved into our new house and had a huge blank wall for weeks. This finally made the space feel finished.
I struggled to pick a color, but this one looks great with my furniture.
5 stars! I’d recommend it.
The painting itself is lovely, but I wish the canvas stretched a bit tighter on the wooden frame. It’s slightly loose on one side but not too noticeable.
really nice workmanship. Better than expected.
Bought as a gift. It was a huge hit!
Simple, clean, and exactly the kind of look I wanted.
It looks exactly like the listing photos. The texture is great. The hanging hardware on the back was slightly crooked, but easy to fix.
Packed very securely. No damage.
Great material and feels premium.
Exceeded expectations. Found my new favorite shop.
Very artistic. I love this style.
Colors are rich and the canvas is tight on the frame stretcher. There’s a tiny smudge of pencil on the back wood, front is perfect.
Stunning vibrant colors. It brought so much life to our boring dining room wall. Already got a compliment from a neighbor.
really beautiful work! The cardboard corner protectors were a nice touch in the package. No scratches at all.
Took about two weeks to arrive in Seattle, but the craftsmanship is undeniable. The brushwork and texture feel much more substantial than mass-market wall art.
Good item, arrived safely in a timely manner. The back staples are a bit messy but the artwork itself is in great condition.
Exactly as described on the store. Adds a nice sophisticated touch to our guest bedroom. Our visitors always notice it.
Very happy with this piece for our dining room. The paint gives off a slight odor initially but went away after venting it out.
Super pretty, exactly as pictured.
Great packaging and fast delivery.
Love it. really nice quality.
Perfect! I’d recommend it.
Out of all the brands I looked at, Viarteart had the most unique vibe.
Good communication from the store when I asked about transit updates. Arrived safely and looks amazing over the mantel.
Exceeded what I expected for this price point. It’s an actual oil painting, you can feel the paint. Shipped very securely to Miami.
The packaging was incredibly secure. in great condition canvas. The impasto technique used gives it so much life and dimension.
Took forever to ship out, almost a week before it even scanned at the carrier facility. The art itself is fine, but be prepared to wait.
Really good art. Sturdy wooden frame behind the stretched canvas. A little difficult to hang by myself due to the size, but great.
The colors are slightly darker than the picture on my phone, but the brushwork is beautiful. Arrived in about 6 days to Texas.
A solid 4 stars. The wood frame could be a tiny bit heavier, but the canvas painting itself is gorgeous. Easy to hang.
Shipping was quick to Ohio. The artwork was wrapped in heavy duty bubble wrap. It looks incredibly elegant over our piano.
Pretty good painting. There’s a tiny spot where the paint looks a bit thick, but nobody notices it unless they are an inch away.
Perfectly stretched canvas, very neat on the back. Came with all the hardware needed to mount it on drywall. Good experience overall.
The painting quality is great, but the package required a signature and the carrier didn't ring my bell, had to drive to the depot to get it.
