Artwork Description
Prismatic Accord is a hand-painted abstract oil painting featuring vivid color blocks beneath a sweeping arrangement of sculptural white paint. Its panoramic horizontal composition combines saturated hues, raised texture, and fine linear gestures in an expressive contemporary design.
Cool blues dominate the left side, moving from pale aqua to deeper cobalt. Broad overlapping strokes give these passages depth while retaining the clear edges and directional marks of their application.
Purple rises through the upper middle-left, connecting the blue areas with softer pink above the center. These neighboring colors create a gradual transition across the painting’s more strongly contrasting sections.
The right side introduces luminous yellow and orange. Their broad, upright shapes bring warmth and brightness, balancing the weight of the cooler blue passages opposite them.
Red and magenta gather beneath the orange, extending toward the lower right. Darker burgundy accents add depth within these warm areas and provide a strong backdrop for the white forms crossing in front.
A fresh green passage appears near the lower center-left. Positioned between blue and yellow, it introduces another point of contrast while connecting the surrounding color fields.
White remains visible between many of the larger blocks. These open intervals separate neighboring hues and prevent the saturated palette from overwhelming the composition.
Across the middle, thick white daubs form an irregular horizontal sequence. Their rounded rectangular shapes and folded edges create the artwork’s most pronounced tactile feature.
The white forms vary in scale and orientation. Some sit in compact clusters, while others extend upward or outward, giving the central arrangement a spontaneous, changing rhythm.
Soft gray shadows within the raised-looking paint emphasize its sculptural appearance. The contrast between these pale forms and the flatter color passages makes the layered surface especially striking.
Fine white lines shoot diagonally across the canvas, linking separated areas. Their slender gestures provide a delicate counterpoint to the heavier central paint applications.
Narrow drips descend through the lower middle and right. These vertical trails interrupt the broad blocks of color and extend the movement toward the lower edge.
The background brushwork combines smooth dragged passages with scraped edges and uneven coverage. Close viewing reveals subtle transitions and traces of underlying colors within the larger shapes.
The wide format gives the arrangement room to unfold, drawing the eye from cool blue through the central white accents toward warm orange and red. This progression creates a lively balance across the painting.

No. Our paintings are made by hand on canvas, with real brushwork rather than printed reproduction. Depending on the design, our artists may use oils, acrylics, and texture mediums. If you would like exact materials for a specific artwork, please ask before ordering.

Will I see my finished painting before it ships?
Yes. We send photos for your review after painting is complete. You can request minor adjustments before approving the finished work for framing and shipping.
How long does production and delivery take?
Hand-painting and drying generally take 7–14 days. We then send photos for your approval before framing and dispatch. Delivery after dispatch usually takes about 5–7 business days, depending on destination and carrier. Approval changes and transit delays can extend the total timeline, so delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees.
What if my painting arrives damaged?
Please contact us with your order number and photos of the artwork, outer packaging, and shipping label. We'll review the issue and arrange an appropriate solution under our damage protection policy.

the customer service team was wonderful throughout the whole process. After several small changes I’m very happy with the work. However, as the impasto paint is quite thick, I would strongly recommend it is shipped as stretched canvas (like mine was) or the paint will crack if sent rolled.
The item was as described, thought the waves would be thicker in depth, but it looks nice in our LR.
