Artwork Description
Vivid Confluence is a hand-painted abstract oil painting featuring cascading pink, red, blue, and ochre passages over a textured white ground. Its vertical composition combines expressive color with a strong dark band that connects the surface from side to side.
Warm white occupies generous areas of the canvas, allowing the brighter colors to remain distinct. Fine ridges and irregular marks bring detail to these quieter spaces, making the background an active part of the composition.
Ochre yellow gathers near the upper left in broad, descending strokes. Its earthy warmth balances the cooler blues on the opposite side and introduces a substantial area of color above the central band.
Red marks rise through the upper middle and reappear along the right edge. Their vivid intensity creates several points of interest, encouraging the eye to move across the painting before following its downward gestures.
A broad pink passage extends through the lower center-left. Soft blush, rose, and deeper pink overlap within this area, creating depth through shifts in color and paint coverage.
Blue appears in several contrasting forms. Pale aqua opens across the upper right, while stronger cobalt and deeper blue collect beneath it and near the lower left corner.
These separated blue passages establish a visual connection across the canvas. Their placement balances the larger pink area and keeps the composition active throughout its full height.
A broken black band crosses near the middle, providing the painting’s strongest structural element. Its uneven edges intersect with the surrounding colors, creating a concentrated meeting point between the upper and lower sections.
Gray passages soften portions of this dark band. Smaller charcoal marks extend downward on the right, adding weight beside the lighter white and aqua areas.
The dominant vertical movement comes from elongated strokes and narrow paint trails. These descending marks pass through neighboring colors, linking separate passages and giving the surface a flowing rhythm.
Scraped patches reveal fragments of underlying layers. Red, pink, yellow, and blue emerge through broken white coverage, creating small details that become more apparent at close range.
Raised paint edges and roughened textures contrast with thinner, more open passages. This variation gives the painting a tactile character while preserving the clarity of its larger color relationships.
The composition balances bright accents with ample neutral space. Its expressive energy comes from the intersections of color, the contrast of light and dark, and the changing density of the paint.

No. Our paintings are made by hand on canvas, with real brushwork rather than printed reproduction. Depending on the design, our artists may use oils, acrylics, and texture mediums. If you would like exact materials for a specific artwork, please ask before ordering.

Will I see my finished painting before it ships?
Yes. We send photos for your review after painting is complete. You can request minor adjustments before approving the finished work for framing and shipping.
How long does production and delivery take?
Hand-painting and drying generally take 7–14 days. We then send photos for your approval before framing and dispatch. Delivery after dispatch usually takes about 5–7 business days, depending on destination and carrier. Approval changes and transit delays can extend the total timeline, so delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees.
What if my painting arrives damaged?
Please contact us with your order number and photos of the artwork, outer packaging, and shipping label. We'll review the issue and arrange an appropriate solution under our damage protection policy.

the customer service team was wonderful throughout the whole process. After several small changes I’m very happy with the work. However, as the impasto paint is quite thick, I would strongly recommend it is shipped as stretched canvas (like mine was) or the paint will crack if sent rolled.
The item was as described, thought the waves would be thicker in depth, but it looks nice in our LR.
