Artwork Description
Winter Together is a heartwarming hand-painted oil painting that celebrates the simple joys of family, companionship, and cherished winter memories. Featuring an elderly grandfather, a young girl, and their faithful dog enjoying a snowy walk together, this charming figurative artwork captures a tender moment filled with love, warmth, and quiet happiness.
Against a softly textured cream and beige background, the grandfather and child walk side by side through a peaceful snow-covered landscape. Both carry large snowballs, suggesting a playful winter adventure, while their golden-brown dog trots happily beside them. The grandfather's protective arm around the young girl adds a touching sense of affection and togetherness.
The artwork's gentle color palette combines warm ivory, creamy beige, snowy white, earthy brown, forest green, and subtle gray. These soothing tones create a beautiful contrast between the cool winter setting and the emotional warmth of the scene.
Delicate brushstrokes and softly layered oil paint give the composition a handcrafted, storybook-inspired quality. The textured background introduces subtle movement and depth, while carefully rendered clothing, expressive faces, and snowy details bring the characters to life.
The grandfather's cozy green sweater, soft gray scarf, and round glasses create a lovable, nostalgic character. The young girl's warm brown coat and knitted hat add an inviting sense of childhood innocence, while the cheerful dog completes this touching family portrait.
The minimalist background allows the central figures to remain the focus, emphasizing their connection and the peaceful beauty of an ordinary moment shared together. Gentle shadows across the snow introduce depth without disturbing the painting's calm and airy atmosphere.
Winter Together is an ideal decorative choice for living rooms, bedrooms, family rooms, reading corners, cozy cottages, and welcoming entryways. Its nostalgic storytelling and understated color palette make it especially appealing to those who appreciate meaningful artwork inspired by family life and treasured memories.
The soft neutral background pairs beautifully with natural wood furniture, cream upholstery, knitted textiles, rustic accessories, and warm seasonal décor. Its timeless charm makes it suitable for display throughout the year, while also adding a particularly inviting atmosphere during the winter and holiday seasons.
Perfect for Cozy Contemporary, Scandinavian, Modern Farmhouse, Cottagecore, Traditional, and Transitional interiors, Winter Together brings a sense of comfort, nostalgia, and heartfelt connection into the home.
Each painting is individually hand-painted, allowing subtle variations in brushwork, texture, and color layering that make every artwork unique.

GOOD TO KNOW
Questions, answered.
Clear details, so you can choose with confidence.
Are Viarteart paintings printed?
No. Our paintings are made by hand on canvas, with real brushwork rather than printed reproduction. Depending on the design, our artists may use oils, acrylics, and texture mediums. If you would like exact materials for a specific artwork, please ask before ordering.
Can I request a different size or color?
We offer custom sizing and color adjustments for many paintings. Contact our team with your preferences before placing an order.
Will I see my finished painting before it ships?
Yes. We send photos for your review after painting is complete. You can request minor adjustments before approving the finished work for framing and shipping.
How long does production and delivery take?
Hand-painting and drying generally take 7–14 days. We then send photos for your approval before framing and dispatch. Delivery after dispatch usually takes about 5–7 business days, depending on destination and carrier. The quality of the art was better than I expected. It's absolutely an amazing piece of artwork. Thank you.
the customer service team was wonderful throughout the whole process. After several small changes I’m very happy with the work. However, as the impasto paint is quite thick, I would strongly recommend it is shipped as stretched canvas (like mine was) or the paint will crack if sent rolled.
The item was as described, thought the waves would be thicker in depth, but it looks nice in our LR.

Its still at DHL. There's trouble on my end here.
Ocean Whisper – Hand-Painted Textured Coastal Waves Oil Painting
We just moved into our new house and had a huge blank wall for weeks. This finally made the space feel finished.
I struggled to pick a color, but this one looks great with my furniture.
5 stars! I’d recommend it.
The painting itself is lovely, but I wish the canvas stretched a bit tighter on the wooden frame. It’s slightly loose on one side but not too noticeable.
really nice workmanship. Better than expected.
Bought as a gift. It was a huge hit!
Simple, clean, and exactly the kind of look I wanted.
It looks exactly like the listing photos. The texture is great. The hanging hardware on the back was slightly crooked, but easy to fix.
Packed very securely. No damage.
Great material and feels premium.
Exceeded expectations. Found my new favorite shop.
Very artistic. I love this style.
Colors are rich and the canvas is tight on the frame stretcher. There’s a tiny smudge of pencil on the back wood, front is perfect.
Stunning vibrant colors. It brought so much life to our boring dining room wall. Already got a compliment from a neighbor.
really beautiful work! The cardboard corner protectors were a nice touch in the package. No scratches at all.
Took about two weeks to arrive in Seattle, but the craftsmanship is undeniable. The brushwork and texture feel much more substantial than mass-market wall art.
Good item, arrived safely in a timely manner. The back staples are a bit messy but the artwork itself is in great condition.
Exactly as described on the store. Adds a nice sophisticated touch to our guest bedroom. Our visitors always notice it.
Very happy with this piece for our dining room. The paint gives off a slight odor initially but went away after venting it out.
Super pretty, exactly as pictured.
Great packaging and fast delivery.
Love it. really nice quality.
Perfect! I’d recommend it.
Out of all the brands I looked at, Viarteart had the most unique vibe.
Good communication from the store when I asked about transit updates. Arrived safely and looks amazing over the mantel.
Exceeded what I expected for this price point. It’s an actual oil painting, you can feel the paint. Shipped very securely to Miami.
The packaging was incredibly secure. in great condition canvas. The impasto technique used gives it so much life and dimension.
Took forever to ship out, almost a week before it even scanned at the carrier facility. The art itself is fine, but be prepared to wait.
Really good art. Sturdy wooden frame behind the stretched canvas. A little difficult to hang by myself due to the size, but great.
The colors are slightly darker than the picture on my phone, but the brushwork is beautiful. Arrived in about 6 days to Texas.
A solid 4 stars. The wood frame could be a tiny bit heavier, but the canvas painting itself is gorgeous. Easy to hang.
Shipping was quick to Ohio. The artwork was wrapped in heavy duty bubble wrap. It looks incredibly elegant over our piano.
Pretty good painting. There’s a tiny spot where the paint looks a bit thick, but nobody notices it unless they are an inch away.
Perfectly stretched canvas, very neat on the back. Came with all the hardware needed to mount it on drywall. Good experience overall.
The painting quality is great, but the package required a signature and the carrier didn't ring my bell, had to drive to the depot to get it.

ARTIST PROFILE
Kemi Adebayo
Born 1990, NIGERIA
Kemi Adebayo is a contemporary African artist whose work is rooted in emotion, identity, and personal narrative. Through bold strokes and layered textures, she explores the unspoken experiences that shape human connection and self-expression. Her paintings are driven by instinct rather than precision, allowing movement, rhythm, and raw energy to define each piece. Color plays a central role in her work — not as decoration, but as language, conveying intensity, memory, and voice.
